Over the next ten years we envision Taylorville Christian Church. . .

 …Reaching out to Taylorville and the surrounding communities sharing Christ with hundreds of unchurched people of all ages, lifestyles, incomes and ethnic backgrounds, doing whatever it takes to introduce them to Christ and lead them to surrender to him as Lord and Savior of their lives.

 …Developing all who are part of our worshiping family into fully functioning disciples of Jesus Christ through inspiring, vibrant worship services, thoughtful and well-led Bible and Bible-related classes, age-appropriate classes for children and youth, specialized seminars, workshops and preaching events, and small groups.

 …Becoming a church of small groups, a church that models a community of Christ-followers who love and care for one another, shepherd one another, encourage one another, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word and His purpose for their lives.

 …Equipping all who are part of our worshiping family to discover the gifts of service God’s Spirit has entrusted to them and to help them use those gifts in ministry, so that every member will be a minister.

 …Welcoming hundreds of new church members who will enthusiastically support the mission of Taylorville Christian Church with their time, spiritual gifts, natural abilities, and their financial resources.

 …Encouraging and sending many of our members on both short-term and long-term mission opportunities in the U.S. and other countries, as well as providing support for those who decide to enroll in a Bible College or Seminary to prepare themselves for ministry as their vocation.

 …Expanding our present building facility and grounds to accommodate a growing church that provides ample space for worship, parking, receiving guests, fellowship meals, teaching, recreation, children’s and youth programs, VisionWay Christian School, older adult ministries, and community service.

...Empowering and growing our ministry staff and other leaders, enabling them to be led by God in fulfilling the church's vision and mission.
